USCGA Shoeless Flash Mob!

On July 27, the USCGA had another flash mob at the statue of “Shoeless” Joe Jackson. As you can tell by the picture, it rained! I mean, a five minute meeting, and it rained! Oh well…we all had a blast! After signing the log–taking the form of a baseball–we headed off to watch our Greenville Drive take on the Charleston Riverdogs. Charleston won the game, but we all had a good time chatting, singing, and in some cases, dancing! The fireworks afterwards were great, too! We had 31 people sign up to come…hopefully we’ll have much more the next time around! If you’ve never come to a USCGA event, we invite you to come out next time! Our next meeting is August 18th at Sliding Rock. It is a CITO (Cache In, Trash Out) event, and those always prove to be a good time. We promise to act civil. (Maybe.)
